TDSS Service Center

Manage all Operational Systems from a single location for ALL hospital facilities.  Whether you are at a single location or facility, or need to manage multiple facilities, the system allows for true Enterprise Management.

The TDSS Service Center System allows for the management of disparate systems with the healthcare environment. 

Listed below are many of our Service Center Systems that you can manage.

  • Clinical Engineering (BioMed):  Allows locations to enter requests for work needed on medical equipment. Clinical Engineering staff can also schedule preventative maintenance for medical equipment. Pictures of available items can be displayed.

  • Courier:  Allows tracking and management of Courier requests for both Internal/External pickup and delivery throughout an organization.

  • Engineering (Facilities):  Units can order Engineering Requests through TDSS.  These requests are managed by the Service Center who are in contact with Engineering employees or can be managed directly by Engineering personnel.  An interface to Engineering systems can also be created to facilitate this process.  Employees can update the ticket with any specific notes. Pictures of available items can be displayed.


  • Food and Nutrition (Dietary):  Organizations can track food requests, food service equipment delivery, requests for Catering, diet consultations, and special diet requests from the Nutrition department and they can track the status. Pictures of available items can be displayed.


  • General Services:  Units can track generic schedules and appointments through TDSS. This module can be used by the hospital to track specialized calls that do not fall in other modules.


  • Information Services (Ticketing):  Units can track service requests for IT departments and their completion.  IT personnel can update the ticket with any specific notes. Pictures of available items can be displayed.


  • Interpreter Services:  Interpreter Services department (or a Centralized Dispatch Center) can manage Translation requests through TDSS.  Units can track their requests for an Interpreter and also request interpretation devices.  The system will automatically assign tasks to interpreters based on the language required.  Interpreters can update the task with their notes on service.


  • Linen:  Units can order Linen through TDSS. Pictures of available items can be displayed. 


  • Mail:  Units can track mail routes and schedule rounds. Pictures of available items can be displayed.


  • Materials Management:  Materials Management department (or a Centralized Dispatch Center) can manage supply requests through TDSS.  Units can order supplies of various quantities through TDSS and include photos of items with the request.  Pictures of supplies available in inventory can also be displayed so the unit knows what it will be ordering.  Materials Management personnel can capture a signature when items are delivered.  An Interface can also be setup to send orders to an external Inventory Management System as well as receive an item inventory.


  • Mobility (Traction):  Units can schedule special Mobility (Traction) Calls through TDSS or request on-demand tasks.


  • Offsite:  Units can track offsite trips and requests.  These requests could be any type of trips to external locations.


  • Opinion (Employee Feedback):  Units can track employee feedback.  Feedback can be from a defined set of questions to generic opinion on a given topic.


  • Patient Equipment On-Demand:  Units can order equipment through TDSS.  This equipment can be picked up at regular intervals for maintenance and delivered to a pool. Ability to track Specialty Equipment Future version will include bar coding and tracking of individual equipment including check in/out process. Pictures of available items can be displayed.


  • Peri-Op (Surgery):  Peri-Op department can manage moving patients in and out of Surgery suites as well as cleaning the Suites.  Future version will display a board of all surgery suites and their appointments. 

  • Phlebotomy (Lab):  Units can track phlebotomy and other lab requests through TDSS.


  • Physical Therapy:  Physical Therapy (or a Centralized Dispatch Center) can manage Physical Therapy Patient Trips as well as schedule trips based on patient therapy needs.  Units can monitor calls for their patients through TDSS Web Portal.


  • Security:  Security departments (or a Centralized Dispatch Center) can manage security requests by various Units and departments.  Unit users can place Security Requests and monitor their requests through TDSS.


  • Specialty Beds:  A department (or Centralized Dispatch Center) can manage deployment of Specialty Beds and Equipment to various locations.  In most cases, equipment is rented and time for each location needs to be tracked. Pictures of available items can be displayed.


  • Valet:  Valet Department can track Parking assignments through TDSS.  In addition, when valet customers (including patients) are ready to leave, they can take a picture of their valet ticket and text TDSS.  This will automatically create a task for valet to get their car.  The car will be ready when the patient reaches the exit.


  • Welcome Calls: When patients are admitted to the hospital, agents (or volunteers) can call the patient to ask if they can do anything to make their stay more comfortable.  These calls, in combination with Discharge calls, can have a positive impact on Patient Satisfaction. Welcome Calls are automatically created in the TDSS system when a patient is admitted to the hospital.  If the patient requests a service, the agent can create a new task for the appropriate Service Department (within TDSS) to follow up.


  • Wellness (Employee Health):  Employee Health department can manage Employee Care through follow-up calls with employees that have health issues (or any other issue to track).
